By using Verdict you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. In these terms, "we" means Cristian Cojocaru, an individual developer in the United Kingdom, who provides the app.

What Verdict is

Verdict reads supplement labels and typed descriptions of what you take, and produces an analysis covering dosing, published evidence, ingredient overlap, potential interactions, gaps and estimated cost.

What Verdict is not, and its limits

• It reads labels, it does not test products. Verdict cannot verify purity, contamination, or whether a product contains what it claims. That requires third-party laboratory testing.
• It does not know your medical history or your medication. Some supplements interact with prescription medicines. Nothing in the app should be read as confirmation that a combination is safe for you.
• Daily totals cover supplements only. Food and fortified products add to the same figures, so your real intake is higher than the app can see.
• Reference intakes are United Kingdom values, using NRV figures and EVM upper levels. These differ from the Daily Values printed on labels in other countries.
• Analyses are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. A label can be misread, a dose can be misinterpreted, and evidence can be summarised imperfectly. Check anything that matters against the product itself and a qualified professional.
• Cost figures are estimates based on typical prices or on prices you enter yourself.

Always consult a doctor or pharmacist before starting or stopping a supplement, particularly if you take prescription medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a medical condition.

Free use and subscriptions

Verdict includes a limited number of free analyses. Beyond that a subscription, Verdict Pro, is required for further analyses.

• Subscriptions are offered on a monthly and a yearly basis. The exact price in your currency is shown in the app before you buy, and is set by the app store for your region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your app store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by the app store you purchased through, under its policies, not by us.
• Verdict Pro is marketed as unlimited and is subject to a fair use limit intended to catch automated abuse. Ordinary personal use will not reach it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Verdict to submit anything other than supplement information, attempt to extract or resell the analyses in bulk, interfere with the service, or work around usage limits.

Your content

You keep any rights you have in what you submit. You give us permission to process it in order to produce your analysis and to operate the service, as described in the privacy policy. The app, its design and its output remain ours.

Availability

Verdict is provided as is. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or that any analysis will be accurate or complete. Features may change or be withdrawn.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of Verdict or from decisions made on the basis of its output. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your own country.
